Mr. Kilt knows what I want. We celebrated our third anniversary a few days ago and his gift for me made me Squeal, yes, SQEAL (I'm such a girl -.-) with joy.
Now, if you by some strange alien reason have no clue what this is (shame on you!), you should play Bioshock 2 right this minute (I've written about this game before Here), unless you haven't played Bioshock 1, because then you have to play that one first.
Ah, He sure knows how to reach my heart with nerdy stuff, Mr. Kilt.
Play it like you mean it.

Videogames
Mr. Kilt has a rival - Videogames.
It was love at first sight when I was seven years old and unpacked a 8-bit Nintendo and videogames have since then never left my side.
Videogames are so much better than humans. They let me restart if I screw up without complaints, they don't get tired after a few hours of hardcore action, they're always up for trying something new, but doesn't mind doing the same thing over and over again either.
Videogames have never broke my heart, or my jaw.
Videogames are the best thing ever.
The Devils Panties
This online comic means a whole lot to me, in a way it is what brought me and Mr. Kilt together. When I later became friends with my neighbour I was superhappy to find out that not only was she a fan as well, but she had all the books AND the puzzle!
The other night we decided to build this puzzle. You might not think this is a big deal, but you see...
My neighbour is kind of almost completely blind. She has the white cane and everything. Yeah, not such a small deal, anymore, eh?
It took us a while, but eventually we finished it:
Awesome, right?
Anyway, The Devils Panties is a fantastically funny semi-biographic webcomic that's been up since october 2001, written and drawn by Jenny Breeden. She updates daily about family, pirates, cons, fairs and nightclubs. Oh and men in Kilts.
Maybe you've been there, but if not, you must have seen the youtube-videos of Jenny Breedens annual Kilt-blowing at Dragon-Con, right? (if not, then watch this Right Now and then pretend you knew about it all along. Don't worry, there's no Pr0n).
The Devil's panties is not satanic porn, and completely SFW, unless your co-workers mind you laughing out loud every few minutes, then you should probably wait until you get home.
Fiction is your friend.

Bioshock 2
Okey, breaking the first post anxiety with a random game rambling.
I finished Bioshock 2 about ten minutes ago, the good ending, and I cried my eyes out like the girl I am. I've been half longing/half fearing the ending as I have played Bioshock 1 and shouldn't be surprised by any ending really.
But this... This was just heartbreaking.
I love the story in Bioshock, I love collecting the audio tapes to hear of other stories and I love the Little Sisters. I do Not love the Big Sisters, however. Cranky little bitches they were. For some reason i always feel a bit guilty when I kill a Big Brother, and when further explained about them in the 2nd game, it didn't make it easier on me.
But the game must go on. (And i must stop being such a wuss).
Anyone who loves a shooting game with a good story should pick this one up. Seriously people, just do it.
I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but I'll get on it, as soon as my eyes dry up. The intro seems pretty cool, though.
Play it like you mean it.
